At Sunshine State Goldens, we pride ourselves in breeding the healthiest and most versatile Golden Retrievers possible. We believe that in order to do so, our puppies must get off on the right foot! This is why we have chosen to implement Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) as well as Early Scent Introduction (ESI). Both of these techniques are encouraged by the American Kennel Club and take place from the puppies 3rd day of life til their 16th.
ENS consists of working with each puppy one on one while moving through 5 exercises for 3-5 seconds each.
Similarly, ESI consists of allowing the puppies to smell a new scent for 5 seconds each day for 13 days. For more information on ESI click this link.
